The 2 sculptures are guardians, as well as abstract and metaphoric trees. Standing vigilantly, and yet exuberantly, they appear rooted in the past of rail culture in Charlotte, while growing skyward, celebrating and pushing tracks toward the future of rail transportation. Tracks dance through the abstract tree branches and solar powered LED lights gently blink on and off during evening hours.
