A translucent wall inspired by an abstracted and “flattened” out barrel cactus forms a visual screen for the 30’ water slide in this aquatic center. The wall’s structure and 5000 colorful reflective dots located behind the wall create a changing and subtle shimmering light show across the pale green translucent surface as the sunlight and wind activate them, and also enlivens the stairway entrance area to the water slide behind.
