The integrated and collaborative work by Hirschfield, Ishii, & Sato refers to the building’s original use as a school and its contemporary use as an art center. The lobby’s 3-story lit glass wall, glass doors, glass murals and theater vomitoria use historic photos to connect the new building to its past.
