A collaborative work with William J. Maxwell, Garrison Roots and Philip Lamb, this terrazzo floor for the Convention Center produced with American Terrazzo Company included nearly 100,000 of terrazzo on 2 floors. A floor laden with custom made elements, inlays and over 13 colors of terrazzo, included a great deal of involvement on site by the artists who used the opportunity as a “terrazzo studio” to produce many different types of designs and techniques in collaboration with the terrazzo craftsmen.
