3 major elements are in the main lobby area: 1(shown), a water/word wall located on both the first and second levels. Water flows down the limestone “slot” sandblasted with “first words” or words spoken by children as they begin to learn the language and “last words”, words spoken by adults as they near the end of life, 2) the terrazzo floor in the lobby and all the hallways of the first floor, including special details at the foot of the water wall, and 3) 3 large sandblasted words on the main limestone wall (ONE, NOW, ALL).
